Sorry I haven't been too active lately with new projects. Time's been kinda drained outta me and its left little time to myself and some projects I've wanted to get to since earlier in the year.
This was a test for camera matching, working with some basic effects as well.
There's another following shot for this, though its taking a while to do, and decide what style I'll try for that clip as this is mainly as a test and demonstration purposes.
-- Clip Notes -- This is a breaking down of some key things I worked with in the video. Layers/objects include: - Icicles on the floor - Large fragments - Small fragments - Mist - Body template ----
That body template makes the ice to go behind the body rather than be rendered in front of it. Took a while to match up the movements to a satisfactory level.
Well, hope ya enjoy seeing this breakdown of this short clip. This sure took a while. Will be tryin to get more out eventually.
@01:01Pretty awesome in itself, I just think that you could do a few more tricks with the same basic principle...
You could throw ice like a spear, create a protective ring of spiky-ness and even fire off a couple more of those Frost Divers to make your point.
I have to say, though, that this is pretty damn good as a visual technique guide too. You've covered all the basics that new learners will have to consider and showed them off with flair.
Actually, I think you may also have converted our Matt to the idea of throwing around his special effects It's what I'd be doing ^^
@01:01Quite possibly, there's another tidbit coming, though I'm not required to work on it as in depth as this one as there's more created content in it.
