Commissions Closed [October]

Thu Nov 5, 2009, 4:28 AM
Heya,

Just popping up a notification that I'm no longer open for taking any more commissions this round. Slots are taken up**, and also my plate's gonna start getting full again.

I also want to emphasise that I'm going to place an expiry date on commissions that are pending/awaiting reply. I'm not keen on leaving a commission spot kinda lingering for too long if I can help it, especially if they haven't technically been started.

----
EDIT#2: Final slot taken. Commissions are now closed this round.
EDIT:
** Due to a minor miscommunication one slot has become available again. I'll give this until the end of this week (8th Nov) before I'm officially closed. [link] for details.

----
So to those who have any commission slots with me, there'll be about 1-2 months from now (basically till the end of the year or so) before your commission slot will be considered expired. If you get back to me before then with commission details and what you want, I'll let you know if/when I can get around to it.

It might seem a little upfront or whatnot, but I'd prefer to know that when I'm closing, I'm actually going to close commissions and not have clients come to me months later and decide its time to have me do the commission spot they reserved ages ago.

And also, it also makes things a little more fair for others in future commission rounds in that I'll be opening with clean and empty lists/spots. And yes even if yours expires you can grab another commission next round.

Nevertheless, thanks a lot to those who've shown interest and also bought commissions from me so far. Also thanks to *carnival for giving me a plug on her journal =)

In other news, indeed I'm gettin real busy again, to a point where even my own projects are on hold ^^;

Nevertheless, doing well. Hope you're all well too. :)
Take care, be safe

Commissions [October: 6/6] (Closed)

Mon Oct 5, 2009, 2:32 AM
Got some time open for a few weeks, so I'm gonna open for commissions for a while.

There will be 4 primary slots for badges, and 2 secondary slots for anything else (or more badges) - first come first serve basis.

What I mean by primary and secondary, is that badge commissions will take priprioty over the other types of commissions (more details below).

Badges: Colour + Laminated [$25 AUD]
Example: [link]
- Digitally drawn and coloured
- Does not include lanyard (You can pop it onto the one supplied by the con)

Primary List:
[1] =loneantarcticwolf
[2] ~RedtailFox**
[3] ~ZarJaMar
[4] =Jeneara
Secondary List:
[5] ~TerraForce
[6] ~Wolfy-J
**Through =loneantarcticwolf

Other Sketches/Artwork Commissions (limited)
I'm open to other stuff also, but not too much at the moment. Requests that are not badges will go into slot 5 and 6. This is because for now I'm making badges my main focus of commissions this round.

So here's a quick run down on details.
Examples: [link]
BW Sketches: [$15 USD]
Coloured/Effects: [+$15~40 USD] (Depends on content, really)

I'm gonna mention that if you are interested in something done in Flash (or even 3D) like an animated avatar, feel free to ask about it - but I can't guarantee I will be able to do it this time around. And yes, prices for these are based on content, which varies greatly in animation/flash

Payment Methods
Paypal
Direct Deposit (Australia only)

Comment/Note if interested.

Hmm... Manifest 09

Thu Aug 27, 2009, 6:18 PM
A good couple of months since my last update - sorry my page has been so dusty.

I've been quite busy offline for a long time now, and have only recently been able to do a bit of art and some catching up online here.

I recently attended Manifest, an anime convention - and caught up/met with people who came down here for the event.

It was certainly a breath of fresh air after so many months of nonstop work and troubles.

Thanks to :iconcarnival: :iconvamore: :iconkraden: :iconjeneara: and :iconcaroos-dungeon: for letting me accompany them, and making each day fun and for also letting me stay by their trading table throughout the convention. It's certainly got me heavily considering to be trading next year with them (or even at MIDfur if I'm able to make it/get stuff together before then).

Also caught up with :icondire-musaera: and met her new husband, :iconelectromancer: (congrats again you two ;p), chatted with numerous people including :icondragonsmoke: :iconlord-shadows: :iconruzkin: :iconshelbelly: and fair few others, too.

Overall it was a fantastic experience, and I really enjoyed it.

-------
In other business, I've been unable to properly do art for quite some time. Though at Manifest I was able to get some sketches out - I'll most likely try colouring and printing them for next year's con.

As for my personal art - It's all coming along slowly, very. Trip Trap 3 is still on the to-do list, but I should mention that its now put on hold for an even bigger project.
Also, some days my time is filled with teaching 3dsmax as well as Flash.

And for those who know 3d, the pre-production part takes quite a while, the actual production part takes even longer, and post production is when you're nearly dead, but you are finally able to actually post some stuff. So unfortunately I will have very little to post for a good while, but certainly - a big project is coming.

Overall though - things are still going along well. I've thought to blow off some dust from my page and let you know things are alright here - and that I'll eventually be back sometime with art once I can get them done.

Hmm... Update, KBall:50k, TT3.

Wed May 20, 2009, 10:22 PM
Sorry for such a long time without an update. Finally got a breather today to do some stuff here.
--
Unfortunately things haven't been exactly a breeze for me lately, both in an emotional and professional perspective.

It's been quite a rough start to the year. And recently another front has been pushing itself into the sour waters. Basically on that front, from me? "Not impressed." I say.
Alas, I've been a little more stern here n there at certain events over the year. Yes, even those with a lot of patience still have their limits.

Whilst I'm not here to exactly complain or vent in this journal, I wanting to give something for people who wonder/worry where I am n stuff to understand that there's some significant reasons why I've not been around much.

Again, sorry for not commenting as much as I used to. Bluntly put, I've just not been as open as I used to. Do know that I appreciate the comments though, I read them all and it does help encourage me to continue with more projects and such. Thanks again you guys.

Oh, and I'm in the process of reorganising years of project folders and archiving old/complete ones. It's seriously taking me forever. But then I'll be setting up the workstations that I have to be clean, formatted and fresh for some heavier work and shared rendering.

-----
And so with that said - to finish on a good note for all you watchers:

:bulletblue: TRIP TRAP 3 is now officially confirmed to be on the to-do list. Yep, you heard me. TT3.
:bulletblue: Almost time to upload KBall, which is fully named KBall:50K. Snippet of the KBall:50k is here: [link] Full version: [link]

Sorry if I worried any of ya. Thanks again for commenting, and showing your support.
Indeed I'm still rolling along.

Take care, be safe

Hmm... Easter.

Sun Apr 12, 2009, 4:08 AM
Still busy busy, trying to roll along as best as I can.

Hope you all have/had an enjoyable Easter, things weren't too bad for me, had catch ups and quite a few meetings regarding my projects and such.

Although, had an egg thrown and bust itself on me Sunday night as I was heading home.

Any more thrown and the umbrella I had would have gone through their eye. Fun fun.

It didn't really tick me off too much, but alas...

Eggs are nicer when cooked and eaten. Yum.

Happy Easter
